1. About these terms

These Terms and Conditions apply to your use of https://moonboundjewels.business-lane.com (the "Site") and your purchases from Moonbound Jewels ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site. You must be at least 18 years old, or have a parent or guardian's permission, to place an order.

2. Products and descriptions

Our pieces are gold tone and silver-tone stainless steel jewelry. Gold tone pieces have a PVD gold finish. We try to show our products as clearly as we can, but colors and sparkle can look different across screens and in different lighting. Sizes and measurements are approximate. Stones are cubic zirconia or similar clear stones, not diamonds.

We do not make medical claims. If you have sensitive skin or a known metal allergy, please be careful when wearing any jewelry.

3. Prices and payment

All prices are in US dollars. Sales tax is added at checkout where required. Payments are processed by Stripe, and we do not see or store your full card number. By placing an order you confirm that you are allowed to use the payment method.

We may fix pricing or description errors, and we may cancel an order if a product is out of stock or if we find a pricing mistake. If we cancel an order you already paid for, we will refund you in full.

4. Orders and cancellations

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send you a shipping confirmation. If you want to cancel or change an order, email us as soon as possible at moonboundjewels@gmail.com. We can only cancel or change an order before it ships.

5. Shipping

Where we ship: within the United States only.
Processing time: 3 to 5 business days after your order is placed, before it ships.
Shipping cost: a flat rate of $4.99 per order. Shipping is free on orders over $35 (before tax).
Delivery time: after your order ships, delivery usually takes a few business days, depending on the carrier and your location. Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed.
Your address: please check your shipping address carefully. We are not responsible for orders sent to an incorrect address you gave us.
Lost or delayed packages: if your tracking shows delivered but you did not receive your order, or your order is very late, email us within 7 days and we will help you look into it with the carrier.

6. Returns and refunds

We want you to be happy with your order. Returns are accepted for items that arrive wrong or damaged.

Email us at moonboundjewels@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery.
Include your order number and clear photos of the item and the packaging.
We will replace the item or refund you, whichever you prefer, if the item is available.
We pay the return shipping if the item was wrong or damaged.
Refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days after we approve them.

We do not accept returns for a change of mind, sizing, or items that have been worn, used, altered or damaged after delivery.

7. Jewelry care

Jewelry gets scratched and wears with time, especially plated pieces. To keep your pieces looking their best:

Take your jewelry off before showering, swimming, exercising or sleeping.
Avoid perfume, lotion, hairspray and cleaning products on your jewelry.
Wipe it with a soft, dry cloth after wearing, and store it dry in a pouch or box.

Normal wear, fading of plating over time, and damage from misuse are not covered by our returns policy.

8. Intellectual property

The Moonbound Jewels name, logo, photos, text and design of the Site belong to us or are used with permission. You may not copy, reuse or sell them without our written permission.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site, try to break or hack it, use it for anything unlawful, or place orders using a payment method that is not yours.

10. Third-party services

We use third parties to run the shop, such as Stripe for payments, shipping carriers for delivery and our website platform for hosting and checkout. We are not responsible for their services, but we choose them with care. The Site may also link to other websites, such as Instagram, which have their own terms and privacy policies.

11. Disclaimers and limits of liability

The Site and our products are provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent allowed by law. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Moonbound Jewels is not liable for indirect or incidental damages, and our total liability for any claim relating to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Some states do not allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under the law that cannot be limited.

12. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use your information. By using the Site you also agree to it.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, United States, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Maryland, unless the law says otherwise. 14. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the effective date above. Your use of the Site after a change means you accept the new Terms.

Shipping Policy

Where we ship

We ship within the United States only. We do not ship outside the US at this time.

Processing time

Orders are processed in 3 to 5 business days after you place them. Business days are Monday to Friday, not including US holidays. Orders placed on a weekend or holiday start processing the next business day.

Shipping rates

Flat rate: $4.99 per order.
Free shipping: on orders over $35, before tax.

The shipping cost is shown at checkout before you pay.

Delivery time

After your order ships, delivery usually takes a few business days, depending on the carrier and where you live. Delivery dates are estimates and are not guaranteed. Weather, holidays and carrier delays can make a delivery take longer.

Tracking

When your order ships, we email you a shipping confirmation with a tracking number. If you do not see it, please check your spam folder.

Your shipping address

Please check your address carefully before you pay. If you gave us a wrong or incomplete address, we are not responsible for the order going to the wrong place. If you made a mistake, email us right away at moonboundjewels@gmail.com. We can only change an address before the order ships.

Lost, delayed or damaged packages

If your tracking says delivered but you cannot find your package, check with your household and neighbors first, then email us within 7 days.
If your order is very late, email us and we will look into it with the carrier.

We want you to love your order. If something is wrong, we will make it right.

What we accept

We accept returns for items that arrive wrong or damaged. You have 7 days from the delivery date to contact us.

What we do not accept

We do not accept returns for a change of mind, sizing, or items that have been worn, used, altered or damaged after delivery. Normal wear and fading of plating over time are not covered.

How to start a return

Include your order number and clear photos of the item and the packaging.
We will reply with next steps. Please do not send anything back until we approve it.

Replacement or refund

If your item is wrong or damaged, you can choose a replacement (if the item is available) or a refund.

Return shipping

We pay the return shipping for items that arrived wrong or damaged. You pay nothing.

Refunds

Once we receive and check the item, we approve your refund. Refunds go back to your original payment method, usually within 5 to 10 business days.
